The Silver Course
Designer: Frank Hummel
Frank Hummel attended Willamette University and Colorado
University, receiving a B.S. degree in Engineering in
1948. During the early 1950's he won many Amateur
Golf titles while working as a combustion engineer in
Pueblo, Colorado. Turning professional in 1956, he
served as club pro in Fort Morgan and later in Greeley,
Colorado.
In 1977 Frank designed the
Eisenhower Silver Course. Frank also designed
Gleneagle CC in 1973, Foxhill in 1973, and Hillcrest GC
in 1972.
